Editor-In-Chief
As a student at Troy High School, I was apart of the nationally award winning newspaper The Chariot. I joined the staff as a reporter my freshman year, became the head copy editor my junior year and the Co-Editor-In-Chief my senior year. During my time as an Editor-In-Chief, the paper was awarded the gold standing from the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association as well as over 40 individual awards given to articles, designs and photographs, many of which I had created/taken. The paper was also declared top ten in the country from JEA/NSPA. In the spring of 2018, I was personally awarded All-State in Journalism from my work done at The Chariot and won the Troy High Department Award for my achievements.
