My Work

In this assignment, we had the opportunity to look into a community of our choosing and analyze how they use language and design to reach their desired audience. I chose to look into the  the fashion magazine VIM at Michigan State University. Using both their physical magazines and Instagram account to understand how VIM uses audience as a rhetorical device in practice. As a writer and amateur rhetorician, I think this assignment reflected my ability to take multiple analysis on different forms of rhetorical choices and combine them in a way that best reflects an individual community.
